Matthew 2:1-2 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea…Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2 and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him.”
Lord Jesus, how your earthly parents must have marveled at these strangers that traveled a great distance to see you and worship you! By their visit, these Gentile Wise Men showed us that you are not only a Savior of your own people (the Jews), but you are the Savior of Jew and Gentile alike. You are the Savior of all nations! So, like the Wise Men, I worship you, thanking you for humbly coming to this earth, living a perfect life in my place, and dying on the cross for my sins. I worship you for the blessings this brings into my life – peace, joy, hope, and comfort. Help me each day to worship you in my thoughts, words, and actions, as I thank you that you are my Savior and the Savior of all people. Amen.
