1 Corinthians 9:22-23 To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel…
O Lord, I’m amazed at the energy, strength, and focus the Apostle Paul had as he served you. He was anything but complacent. Instead, by your power, he was tireless in his efforts to fulfill the role and purpose you had for him in his life. Guard me from complacency that I don’t become self-satisfied about where I am and what I’ve accomplished and lose sight of the dangers around me and the deficiencies within me. Instead, give me the spiritual strength that comes from your Word that I stay focused on the role and responsibilities you have given me, and that I carry them out with zeal and faithfulness. In Jesus’ name I ask this. Amen.
