Exodus 6:1

Exodus 6:1 Then the LORD said to Moses, “Now you will see what I will do to Pharaoh…”

O Lord, Moses needed reassurance.  You had given him your promises telling him what you were going to do for the Israelites.  Yet he needed reassurance.  I’m no different. You give me your promises. I see them; I know them; I believe them.  Yet when the going gets tough, I have a hard time applying them to my life.  I thank you that my lack of sight and weaknesses don’t affect the strength and the faithfulness of your promises.  Continue to lead me back to your Word for reassurance.  Especially in times of testing, sharpen my vision on your promises and help me overcome my weaknesses so that I trust implicitly and unequivocally in your promises.  Amen.
