Hebrews 6:19 We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.
As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us (Psalm 103:12). Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Do not let your hearts be troubled. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am (John 14:1,3). These are your anchors, LORD, that have my name written on them. Without them I float through life being tossed back and forth by the waves and storms of worldly ideas and sin, guilt and shame. Through your Word make me an anchor for someone who is “floating” through life without any hope or certainty of the future. Thank you for keeping my soul firm and secure! Amen.
