Romans 4:8 Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.
I am blessed, Lord! For because you counted my sins against Jesus (2 Cor. 5:21), you will never count my sins against me. So why do I sometimes hold my own sins against me? So why do I sometimes live mired in guilt? For I am blessed! You have blotted out my sins (Psalm 51:1,9)! “Though our sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18). Keep me mindful of this today as Satan seeks to convince me that you didn’t forgive me and I can’t forgive myself. Truth is, “Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him.” I am eternally blessed! Amen.
