2 Corinthians 1:3-4

2 Corinthians 1:3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

O Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, no problem is so great, no situation so bad, that I have no reason to give you thanks. I am forever grateful for the gift of saving faith. I am grateful for the distress I experience in life, as challenging as it may be. For I know that your strength always overmatches and outweighs all trials and troubles that burden me. Your strength builds me up. It equips me to comfort others when they experience anguish and adversity. Continue to comfort me. Continue to strengthen me. Continue to equip me to serve and strengthen others. Amen.
