Romans 12:1

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices…

O Lord God, what a view! And I’m not talking about majestic mountains or a beautiful sunset. I’m talking about your mercy. What a view! When I view myself I see nothing beautiful or majestic. I see a miserable sinner who deserves eternal damnation. But your mercy! You withheld from me what I deserve and gave it to Jesus that he suffered and died in my place. Because of your mercy I have forgiveness; I am alive; I have confidence in your promises; I have hope of eternal life in heaven. O what a view! Help my life be a constant thank offering to you with that view always before me. Amen.
