Romans 5:2,5

Romans 5:2, 5 And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

Hope, O LORD, is only found in you and in your glory. Even on the gloomiest of days your Cross radiates with the sure hope of forgiveness. No matter what happens today at work or in school nothing can silence the praises and the certain promises that echo throughout your kingdom. May this hope that you have given me make me strong today to do your will—to love others even when I am not loved, to love you and obey you even when it might hurt or cause me problems. Empower me to overcome my reservations and share this hope you have given me when people ask why I’m so hopeful for the future. Rejoicing in your glory, I praise your holy Name! Amen.

trust in your power, your protection, and your providence. In your saving name I ask this. Amen.
